Terms of sale

Draft for approval. Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date approved].

The Contraflow is a trading name of RAMCo Property Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11906139), whose registered office is at C/O Black Fox Advisers Limited, Fletchers Business Centre, Grendon Road, Polesworth, B78 1NS. Contact: hello@thecontraflow.co.uk. We are not registered for VAT.

These terms apply when you buy a tender alerts subscription or an SSIP accreditation pack from us. The free newsletter is provided as is, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

1. Who these terms are for

Our products are designed for businesses. If you buy for your business, sections 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 apply, and the consumer rights in section 5 don't. If you're a consumer (buying mainly outside your trade, business or profession), you also have the rights in section 5, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We don't charge VAT because we aren't VAT registered. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. No VAT or other tax is added at checkout: the price you see is the full amount you pay.

3. Tender alert subscriptions

4. SSIP accreditation packs

5. Your 14-day cancellation right (consumers only)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers who buy online can usually cancel within 14 days without giving a reason.

6. Liability

Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to a business customer is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for loss of profit, contracts or business opportunities.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in force when you bought, or, for subscriptions, when your next billing period begins after we've told you about the change.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland can also bring claims in their local courts.
